It’s A Network Computer
It links with your tow vehicle’s computer network and uses multiple data parameters in a proprietary way to create amazingly proportional trailer braking.
Low-Speed Brake Adjustment
A unique feature of the DirecLink 100 and 200NE brake controller. Many drivers struggle to find a single brake scale setting that works to their satisfaction for all speeds covering highway and in-town driving. This forces the driver to either settle on one scale setting that works OK at high speed and does not lock the brakes up at low speeds or constantly change the settings. The Low-Speed Brake Adjustment is a secondary adjustment to the main “Brake Scale” setting. Once the main Brake Scale is set at the preferred braking level at highway speeds, the Low-Speed Brake Adjustment can be set to add or reduce the brake level at lower speeds. This allows for the proper amount of braking for both highway and in-town driving. Once the two adjustments are made, the DirecLink stores the settings in memory to keep them when the vehicle is turned off.
Easy Installation and Set-up
DirecLink automatically syncs with your tow vehicle - just plug it in and let it do the configuring for you. Raise or lower the level of braking and you’re ready to go. No holes to drill, no directional mounting.
Large Color Display
Updated TFT LCD color display for brighter, longer-lasting screen life and quality. The large color display makes it easy to use the DirecLink as a diagnostic tool for your towable brake system to ensure that all monitored functions are good or to resolve any problems.
Electric Drum or Hydraulic
DirecLink works with electric drum brakes and electric-hydraulic actuators, automatically configuring to match your trailer’s brake type.
Proven Technology
DirecLink uses exactly the same computer network that controls your car, truck or SUV so you can count on this proven technology. By linking the data of your tow vehicle to your trailer brake system, both vehicles work seamlessly together.
Real-Time Data
DirecLink maintains complete situational awareness because it continuously monitors your tow vehicle’s computer network. When you apply the brakes, it has a complete picture of what is happening. DirecLink creates precise braking curves to match the rapidly changing demands of your trailer brakes.

Simple install, easy operation, can't complain!
Not but into writing reviews, especially long ones so I’ll be to the point. Had a 1600 mile drive coming up and had to tow my large and heavy fifth wheel with a one ton passenger pickup. I was pretty worried about not being able to control the weight (29K lbs total) and getting pushed down the mountains. I put all new brakes on both the pickup and trailer but the trailer brakes didn’t seem to be doing much. I’m on the diesel forums a lot and saw someone mention this brake controller. He said after using this for some time, he’d never go back to anything else. So, figured I’d give it a go. I called with a question I had after I got the controller and was able to speak to the store manager (I believe that was his position) and he was highly knowledgeable on the product and walked me through setup. That kind of customer service is a virtue and rare these days.
Fast forward to the road trip - as soon as had the controller mostly dialed in with the help from the manager (there are also instructions that come with it) we set off from San Diego to the Midwest. Anyone who’s ever drove from SoCal east and then north/northeast through the southern Rockies understands how severe towing through those mountains can be. We were unknowingly overloaded but it’s not like you’re going to throw your belongings away so we sent it. Almost cooked the transmission and head gaskets on multiple occasions on the last climb through Oxbow pass before the town of Payson. As far as braking goes - was more in control than I could have asked for. Funny thing is, I was completely worried about the breaking and not the overheating. Anytime I felt I needed more stopping power in a hurry I just used the hand held controller which gave me precision control over the heavy trailer. I feel it’s the best brake upgrade I have ever purchased. I would recommend you ensure you have it dialed in before any heavy towing but once you do it trust you will be happy with it.
Again, I’m not big on long reviews but with this product, it was warranted. Knowing my family and I were safe during that entire trip was cheap insurance and total peace of mind. Thanks for an amazing product!!
I've been pulling my 43' toy hauler, 40' gooseneck flatbed, 20' gooseneck dump trailer, and 30' pintle equipment trailer for years with my 1999 International 9400, and switching to the DirecLink along with the Heavy Duty Truck Module 6 Pin has improved things a LOT! These Tuson RV Brakes items get 5 stars from me. They fit right into my heavy truck setup, giving even braking that works well with the truck. When I tow my loaded toy hauler or change to the other e-brake trailers for different jobs, the pair handles it fine without the rough stops like I've had from my other controllers.
The install is very basic and straight forward. This is my second time using this controller because of its ease of use and reliability. I never even considered any other brake control after using this.
This brake controller was exactly what I was looking for and it does exactly what I needed it to do! Definitely recommend.
